build up to doomsday!!!!

Hi guys!!!!

Just back from my Analog Electronics Lab Exam, I feel it's time to gear up for the roller-coster ride called 'End Sems!!'

Starting on a good note, I did pretty well today, where I made up a 'current feedback amplifier circuit' from a bunch of crap handed over to me.

This despite the fact that the week has been a total disaster - with a teacher bunking his classes (let me assure you its not a pleasant surprise to find your teacher absent when you've somehow managed to keep your eyes open for the duration of your miserable walk from the hostel to the classes at 8 in the morning), mugging-load building up and to top it all - Manchester Utd. bowing out of the Champions League....

I am still not at terms with the last fact, it simply can't be true!!!!

Anyways, I just saw two of my friends (the MnC guys) in my lobby and it seems they have been dumped on a bed after receiving the thrashing of their lives... and I wake them up to find out they have a quiz in about half an hour.....!!!

This sight makes any student here reminiscent of the dear old 'end sem' days - the day i call 'doomsday'.

The mere thought of facing that horrid week sends a shiver down my spine.....

I know it should not if I am regular and crap, but take this as a matter of fact, IT DOES!!!

Long and laborious nights, days we dread, and 3 hours of trying to make ends meet, that's to give an overview of a typical 'doomsday'!

But hey! I don't know about the others, but if you live in a lobby the kind I live in, it can turn out to be a hell of an experience.

The craziness, the sheer stupidity, the mind-boggling noises and mind-bursting music are just to mention a few.

The atmosphere, specially at night's, is festive, to say the least.

I am not sure if it's a way to shield the fear or just mere frustration leaking out, but it sure can be fun at such trying times.

That week opens up the pandora's box of emotions, but the bright light at the end of the tunnel drives us through, and that light is real bright once you reach it.

I don't want to get into the 'after the doomsday' stuff. because it just pains to think of it before actually reaching it.

Probably with the end sems closing in, there are chances this 'doomsday' series continues....

Hoping the upcoming few weeks turn out to be good for all (just being nice, actually I want all to ruin their exams so that I am the only one getting the good grades !! hehehe) and that ManU pips Chelsea in the EPL title race, I'll go back to rejoicing the successful end of this sem's lab by a game of Volleyball!!!
