"I'll cover up all my pending stuff this weekend".... I'm sure every single guy - specially here at IITG has thought this thing over week in and week out.
And, as always, passes another weekend of lazing around, this time an extended one at that.
What is it with these weekends???
It's like they have been strategically placed to make people feel guilty of not being able to utilize time.
Comes friday evening and you've got plentiful time on your hands, but as the clock ticks on, it draws you into this 'Chakravyuh', leaving you pondering over the week that could have been....
Now I know some may think this guy's stupid, why worry so much??, but in your heart, you all are smirking at that tiny little righteous self of yours going 'Ha, fooled you again!'
This weekend just had to be the perfect one - a Manchester Utd. Vs Chelsea match at OT and the Malaysian GP to spice it up, nothing could have gone wrong.
But with ManU going down 2-1 and Schumi retiring, now I am stuck up here this Sunday evening with a Quantum Mechanics tutorial that is staring at me as blankly as I am staring at it... a perfect weekend indeed!!!
And now I am left facing the upcoming 'week of quizzes'!!!
All this crap does not seem BLITHESOME in any way, does it??
But hey, that's all the happiness you get here at IITG..
The best thing, we all have found a way to somehow get over it and start the new week afresh, with hopes of utilizing the next weekend to the fullest!
Cheers to all of us for being the ultimate optimists!!
ha ha ha .. well said and indeed cheers to all who can keep up the spirits and not be drowned in the deep junk of despair :P \m/
ReplyDeleteI've a friend that I won't name, he loves weekends because he gets time to complete all the lab reports and tutorials.
ReplyDeleteSome people and their ideas about enjoying a weekend...duh...
he'll never be able to boast of having lived like a true IITGian....
